The tannery sludge contains chromium, and a small amount of chromium promotes the production of wheat plants. Therefore, in the case of controlling the chromium content in the sludge, it can be used as a fertilizer for wheat.

3. Energy utilization

The latest research shows that the energy utilization of tannery sludge can be divided into: anaerobic digestion to produce biogas, fuel utilization, low temperature pyrolysis fuel oil.
